The Journey

Maisha Iko Sawa, meaning Life is Good in the native tongue Swahili. The name of the school was created as meaning of a new beginning in each of our students and their families lives. From here on out we try to help create a good life for each individual that we encounter. From daily living skills, to outings to the giraffe or monkey park, or to being integrated into their community, New Beginnings - Maisha Iko Sawa is designed to bring people a place in their world. To give them purpose and a equal chance at life. Follow along our journey from the start to where the students are going now.
